Bengie was a local owner surrender that we fostered twice, first in February 2021 and then again in July 2021 once Lucy was adopted. Bengie's first adopters loved him but unfortunately were not able to keep him, so he was returned to us for a second stay. Bengie was a big slobbery boy with a top-notch "awk-paw", so I often joked that his bent paw made it look like Professor Gilderoy Lockhard had tried to mend the bones in his leg! Bengie also loved to play with our pack, but he tended to be very protective of his property and family. Fortunately, we were able to find Bengie a great new home and he now lives with a Newfy sister and two Chihuahua brothers, with lots of land to enjoy!
