Our second foster was named Jimmy Dean after one of the rescue's volunteers saw a Jimmy Dean truck passing by when he was pulled from the shelter. Jimmy came into rescue super skinny. We fed him high fat/protein "satin balls" to help him start to put on some weight. Jimmy already had an adoption application by the time we picked him up from the rescue's Texas transport, and he was adopted the next weekend. Jimmy now goes by Laszlo and lives near Portland, Oregon with his mom and Great Pyrenees sister. You can find them at the dog park every day.
