We picked Lucy up as a local owner surrender in May 2021. Lucy was one of the most challenging, yet most rewarding, fosters that we have had. She had basically been crated and kept separate from other dogs at her last home, so she was full of pent up energy and reactivity. After a few days of working with her, Lucy was able to join our pack walks, and within a few weeks, she was able to play off leash with my pack. We visited a great local Sniffspot where Lucy discovered a giant orange ball that she herded around happily for the full hour, so we found out that Lucy's favorite toys were giant balls! We bought Lucy her own giant orange ball and she is still herding it around at her furever home, regardless of the weather conditions!
